I have never in life even thought to write a review on anything but I have to recommend this place. I had been to 2 other shops before I found this hidden gem. I had a kitchen set for years and the craft work on the chairs and table I couldn't seperate from. The problem was the cushions in the chairs through the years were a cream color and had stains. George is the BEST! He is a kind craftsman who has many years of experience and knowledge. He takes great pride in his work. I have an Ethan Allen leather sofa with matching pillows that needed the to be brought back to life. It’s a beautiful leather sofa, the leather is in great condition, however, the original cushions were well beyond their life expectancy. I inherited a baker chair from my grandmother and brought it to George to have it refinished and upholstered. He allowed me to choose my own fabric and wood finish. I couldn’t have been happier with the high quality workmanship and service. George did a fabulous job and I have since referred several friends who also have been very impressed with his work. I would highly recommend George.
The two I encountered were condescending and rude---the man was ready to leave with bag on arm and didnt want to deal with me--wanted to repair my item his way not the way I wanted. Told me to "think" about it and come back.. Yeah , right. I was humiliated and the man and woman just laughed at me.. If the piece to be repaired did not have such meaning to me I would not have been offended..Guess what, I am.
High quality workmanship. George is the best!
