They do not keep contact with you for repairs. Ive been trying to get in touch with them since closing to get repairs done. There have been leaks on the ceiling that they tried to patch up but have not finish up so it have continued to leak. No one have replied to any of my messages.

Do not recommend. They promised multiple repairs to get to closing and never came out to finish the job. Unfortunate that they do not stand behind their work.

I bought my house from GM Home Inc. in August 2017 and have experienced several major issues due to cheap craftsmanship. My second floor is always at least 5 degrees warmer than my first floor because GM Home didn’t install proper returns for the central air. The roof leaked whenever it snowed, which resulted in water damage in my kitchen and guest room. We bought our GM home in May and so far are very happy with our purchase! As with any new build, there have been small tweaks that have needed addressing and GM has been quick to respond to every request and always sends someone to fix the issue, usually within the same day! Their employees are skilled and always respectful.

I bought my house from GM Home and so far it's been good, though as a recent buyer I can't speak to the durability of the construction. At least in my specific case, there are desirable touches like soft-closing cabinets/drawers in the kitchen and dual sinks in the secondary bathroom. There were several issues that were flagged and still hadn't been resolved on my settlement date, but when these were bought up they were quickly addressed thereafter. We bought our home from GM Home in November. And we couldn't be happier so far. We loved the design choices they made - especially the real wood floors (we were so tired of seeing the same laminate floors, ugly backsplash & cabinets in every new construction house). And the quality of the build so far has been great as well - we made it through our first rough winter without any water or other issues (which is much more than many of our friends in the neighborhood can say about their homes in the area).
