For the past couple of years I have paid GM Financial regularly without hesitation nor any missed payments. Recently I paid $3,500 on a $6,700 principle balance. The corruption in the America Auto Industry is HORRIBLE AND SICKENING. How is it possible that after a $3,500 payment you add $800 plus of interest to further one’s debt? Had a Silverado many years ago that I accidentally was going to make a double payment on so I canceled one of them and since then they put a block on my account so I can't make online payment any more. I went with a 3 year lease with a different brand. I assumed maybe they'd of dropped that block for a new vehicle so many years later but nope. Do not go with this loan company. Things such as telling them not to call during certain hours translates to "Do not call me ever". This is accurate and true, as their reps have confirmed it. Anything stating not to call during any hour, they are to put in the system to never call you. If you have issues and need to speak to someone higher, it will never go well and 7/10 times, they hang up on you. I got my car in July 2024 financed through gm. In October 2024 I was in an accident and I'm not going to lie from the accident I completely forgot to make a couple car payments I accept full responsibility for that that was my fault.
