Terrible customer service. They are very uneducated.
Bluntly speaking, GMF 's Customer Service dept and other depts are ran by TL MEXICANS with really strong accents whom I could barely understand a lot of the time some AVP's difficult to understand as well. To me, it seems as if they were being ushered in by there Hispanic Relatives or Compadres in Higher up positions.
I paid off my 2024 Traverse. The check was received by GM Financial and cleared the bank account on Oct 30, 2024. GM Financial has been calling us, emailing and mailing letters to us saying we are past due on our November payment. I have spoken to GM Financial everyday since December 1st (today is the 11th). I have provided copies of the front and back of the CLEARED check myself, the bank that sent the payoff has provided copies on letterhead AND GM Financial keeps saying they don't have record of the check.
