“If you don't mind having your living room torn up for a couple of months and/or surprise charges after job completion/payment (complete with collection agency threats) than this is the company for you. Be prepared to make numerous calls to these guys in order to get them to finish the installation after they've started. We have been looking for a fireplace for about 6 months and have been to a few different companies. When we walked into Glowing Hearth & Home in Burnsville it was a breath of fresh air. The sales staff is so knowledgeable and asked us all the right questions and did not try and sell us what they wanted to. They wanted to make sure what we put in our home was right for us! Expect POOR customer service!! We had our fireplace installed and it took over a week with 3 separate trips to our house before they figured out what was wrong to finally get it working! Now less than 2 months later it doesn't work at all! I have called several times getting the run around with no one getting back to me. We are beyond frustrated and expect more from the company especially when we spent as much money as we did!! Do yourself a favor and avoid Glowing Hearth and Home!!
POOR service & they are NO less expensive than the main Eagan competitor. They overpromise & under-deliver! 4 visits to install vs. 2 as promised: all during work day of course. Their electrician actually ended up drilling up thru our wood floors because he measured wrong. I asked the owner for a nominal price break for our inconvenience but he would not do so! We would not recommend this place.
