Glowforge product suck!! I got an Aura for Christmas several years ago. It worked for about 6 months. Then had the run around with support to get it replaced. The replacement one I received never worked properly. So as stupid as I was, I bought a Pro. Thinking it would be better! NOPE! Same crappy outcome, just cost a whole lot more!! Do not waste your money with this company. My machine is 2 months old and has not worked since taking it out of the box. The Aura and filter are trash. Customer service isn't any help either. They keep telling me do this, try that and it STILL DOES NOT WORK!. All you will do is waste your time, energy and money. Look for a better option because Glowforge IS NOT IT!! The product below is all you'll get. They do not deserve any starts. A complete JOKE!
This company has removed several key software features on its laser machines that were part of the core experience to push users to purchase premium software subscription two years after I got my machine. I understand having a premium service, but this is like buying an iPhone and after two years of use the new upgrade removes your front facing camera unless you pay Apple $50/mo. No. Just a big no.
I bought a glowforge aura in May from the glowforge website. Straight out of the box it had issues cutting all the way through the glowforge materials. It also had issues cutting and engraving my designs properly. I contacted customer service and after countless tests prompted by customer service, which wasted my time and expensive materials, I finally was able to send the glowforge aura back for a replacement.
