I came for a hair cut last week, and left extremely disappointed. I have thick hair, and asked for a blunt chop. I left with layers of thinned out pieces on top, the hair is shorter at the back than the front, and I honestly don’t know how to style my hair anymore since it is so far from what I asked for. I reached out to the salon on Instagram, and was told that I had 2 options, either come in to have it cut even shorter or wait 2 months then come for another hair cut at 15% off. Unfortunately both times I’ve been to Glow my appointments have been rushed. First appointment the stylist worked on my hair and another client at the same time. I understood because they were covering for another stylist who left. Second appointment, someone walked in and the stylist told the person to come back in a bit. She cut my time short to fit her in before her next appointment. I’ve never had that happen before. Can’t say I’ll be back.

I have been coming to see Kara for a few years now and she is truly such an excellent hair stylist with amazing skill. She healed my very damaged bleached hair. She has so much integrity, will never suggest services that will damage your hair and you can rest assured you will leave with the hair you never thought you could have. The best salon in the city. Kara has been doing my hair for 10 years now and there’s no one else I would trust to do my hair (aside from the other amazing staff at Glow) the thoughtfulness, time and effort put into ensuring you get the results you want while still being realistic and protecting your hair. Honestly.. you couldn’t pay me to go anywhere else. 12/10
