We bought a brand-new D.R. Horton home expecting the peace of mind that comes with buying new construction. Instead, we have been dealing with ongoing issues since the day we moved in, including a leaking back door and, more recently, major drainage problems in our backyard. BUYER BEWARE....Tons of issues, tried to post them all. Unfortunately Google does not allow you to post that much info. Anyhow, make sure you have plenty of PTO days, work 2nd or 3rd shift and/or the ability to work remotely. DR Horton and their warranty contractors only schedule 8am-4pm and they WILL NOT adjust their schedule for you. Waterlines installed backwards (4 PTO Days). My family and I cannot express our gratitude to DR Horton, Phil and King! Our experience by far exceeded 5 stars. They made this process so smooth and simple from beginning to end. Dont get me started on the incredible customer service experience we received from Phil. Sherry and Phil have been amazing!! We have been treated like family and truly appreciate that Sherry and Phil have been there for us through every step. Sherry has put up with us looking at the model home about a half a dozen times and greets us with a smile no matter what! D.R. Horton truly has a couple amazing people helping families find their dream home! Highly recommend that you come talk with Sherry and Phil if you are looking for that warm friendly face during that big step in life!
