Absolutely worth the climb to the top.
We visited early in the morning about 8am on a sat morning early Sept so still pretty cold. We were pretty much the only ones there so could tackle the climb without anyone else already up the tree. It was a little scary but so worth it. The climb up took maybe 10mins slowly. Highly recommend.
Good to see, but the climb is not for me, only 1 in our group of 6 made it to the top...we are all over 60...tree top adventure wasn't open.
