A very nice trail with beautiful scenery, but timing makes a big difference if you want to see the waterfall with good water flow. I visited at the end of September, near the end of summer, and luckily it had rained the night before, so there was still enough water to get a good idea of the waterfall. Without recent rain, I imagine it could be much drier. If possible, I would recommend visiting in spring, especially early spring after the snowmelt, when the waterfall should have much stronger flow. The trail is fairly wel... read more

We went when it was dry. The hole was still pretty awesome to see. There are mounds of rocks to climb and explore.
