What kind of place serves oxtail stew without the STEW? Absolutely no sauce. Fat and bones instead of any real meat. Absolute waste of money. I couldn’t eat anything on the place. Jerk chicken was spiced well but they didn’t give me one of my sides. Doubles were dry and not good. I didn’t realize you had to separately ask for tamarind sauce. I should have read the reviews. This place is garbage.
Possibly a top 3 meal I’ve ever had. Split the oxtail and jerk chicken with a friend last week and we can’t stop talking about it. Absolutely bomb. 11/10. Staff is chill too.
I am extremely concerned about the food quality and food safety practices at Gloria's. On May 29 at approximately 8:43 PM, I ordered a chicken roti. Immediately upon receiving it, I noticed the roti was soggy and the potatoes had an unusual odor. After taking a few bites of the roti skin and chicken, I opened the roti further and discovered that the curry chicken and potatoes were noticeably sour.
