The facility is beautiful,staff is very caring, Culture Caravan takes travelers safely to interesting places, and there are so many activities to keep people busy.
I am appalled that McClellan Senior Center is sponsoring a day at the Del Mar Racetrack, where 19 horses have already been killed this season. Del Mar has killed a horse almost every day, far exceeding the death rates at other racetracks nationally. The animals are forced to run too young, on bones that are not well developed, leading to injuries and fatal breakdowns.
