DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Now I am stuck in a cancellation circle. They sent a big cheque for $139.xx after they indicated my cash out on the policy was over 1500.00. This insurance cost me $100 a month for 10 years and this is what I got? They continue to send bills. They sent 1 statement in June 2025 saying that $75 was owed. SCAM If I could give 0 stars I would, this garbage of a company has called me over 200 times in the last 3 months even though I have sent over 20 emails advising to STOP contacting me. They call twice from different numbers always so no matter how many times I block the number they always find a way through. THIS IS A SCAM. If I could post a negative star I would. Last agent we had was rude and pushy. Been trying to reach someone in the Canadian office for 2 days now. No answer and no call backs. We have been with AIL for over 30 years. Terrible way to treat long term clients. Far from reputable in my opinion.
Stephen from this company called me 20 times in 5 days. Called MULTIPLE times a day, over and over but never leaves a message. Then the one message left is call me back immediately all sternly like it is life or death. All to just try to get me to buy more insurance on top of what is already bought. Harassment. Also in previous years, when told he would call me at a certain time, never did. When confronted, all he does is interrupt and gets arrogant. I’d give less stars if I could. Avoid this company!
