Do not purchase globe food Equipment. The company does not stand behind their product and The representatives do not return phone calls. They do not have their own service department and outsource for service with Jay Hill, Who sends unqualified technicians to fix problems. I purchased heavy duty commercial meat slicer for my deli about a year ago. I had problems from day one. I have spoken to multiple managers and still have not received a proper working machine. Not happy with the globe cheese grater at all. They should tell you in advance that the blade size is not comparable to other cheese graders that everyone else uses. That being said, I sent a wrong email with photos to their support team and still have not heard back. We’re not talking about a slice machine for a couple of hundred dollars we’re talking about a $6000 machine that I am unable to return, but furthermore, can’t even get support to email me back. Unacceptable and probably the reason why they have 3.3 stars.
Vack pack machine has been broken since the first day that we got it and had just terrible customer service to get it repaired. Has been broken for over 3 months, terrible customer service. I will never be buying from them again and would never recommend to anyone.
The phone tech support guys are friendly and very helpful. Also it’s easy to get ahold of them - no long wait times.
