I am livid and shaking. I'm 55 years old and never experienced such a rude and screaming customer service lady from a 1-866 number. I'm very nice on the phone until I get yelled at like a child. I'm trying now to find a way to report her. It was ridiculous.
I have been a global vacations member for over a year now. I have taken a couple of vacations now that were great. Having the membership has allowed me to take my children to Disney and saved me many $$$. I was very pleased with the places that I stayed. Had a blast with the children. Everyone at both resorts were pleasant and accommodating. You don't get something for nothing! I was called by some foreigners I couldn't understand saying that i recieved a free trip and all I had to do was show up for a 90 minute presentation and lie about my income. They said you didn't have to prove it, just say you make over $xxx/year. "But, I don't and I won't lie about it." I finally hung up on the man with broken English.
Big Scam. Promise free Air Fare. It's a scam to extract funds from unsuspecting honest people. When you check into what they offer, it's really just selling you something; promising a discount and giving nothing in value. I did not join and tried to collect the "promised" free Air Travel offer. You have to send them a cash deposit and 3 possible travel dates. Did all that. I am a global network customer and sooooo sorry I allowed them to lure me in, after the first year they are no longer meeting my needs! but i was still resposible for making monthly payments WITH INTEREST! so I was able to transfer my balance onto a interest free credit card and pay them in full, even tho I probably wont be using them anymore so that was $3500 down the drain!! and on top of that it took about a month for the credit transfer to complete so they posted a late payment on my credit report and caused my score to ... read more
