Words cannot express the depth of appreciation I have for Tim Brakefield, and for office manager Tina. After a virulent infection ate my retina away in 3 days, I had settled into being monocular. But after 3 years, the imbalance of vision gave me such headaches, I chose to have the eye removed. This was probably the hardest decision of my life, but necessary. I want to say Thank You to Tina and Tim for making the process of getting my prosthetist a great experience. I live close to Tim’s Southern office and he was able to work his schedule to come to my home for all the preliminary steps.I could not be happier with detail and professionalism shown by them both.I have had nothing but compliments from family and friends on the natural look of the final product. My son Jayden is an Unilateral Retinoblastoma cancer survivor who is now in middle school. With this age, he is becoming more aware of his appearance and afraid to look different. His eye was removed at 17 months to save his life and he has been wearing a prosthesis before he was 2 years old. I'm a Disabled Veteran that's been monocular for 38 years, and had my non-seeing eye eviscerated Thanksgiving week of '17 because of extreme pain. How I was pointed in the direction of Global Prosthetics - Tim Brakefield, I do not know, but I'm sure glad this is where I got my prosthetic eye made! Tim's not just an Ocularist, but a terrific artist as well. Not one person that has seen my prosthetic, and also those that know me well, knows the difference between the two.
