I wanted to reach out and share an update regarding my review of the Bad Axe slide X7. After we installed the slide, we noticed that the top two steps felt a bit pliable and caved slightly when stepped on. I initially contacted Global Pool and was told that this was within the standard tolerance for the slide due to expansion and contraction from heat or cold. We purchased a Bad Axe slide X7 around Memorial Day. It arrived pretty quickly and it was installed by the weekend. The slide comes in 3 pieces. The bottom portion of the slide has 2 steps that seems to give a lot more than any of the others. I immediately contacted Global Pool and sent videos regarding my complaint. It took several weeks to hear back. The response was that the “softness” of these 2 steps is within the tolerance allowed. I paid $4k for this slide and will barely get a season out of it. PHENOMENAL customer service! We had a minor issue with our slide (not their fault) and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Communication was immediate, the gentleman that helped us was extremely friendly, and we got fixed up so quickly. I rarely leave a review, but wanted to make sure I shared my experience with Global. We looked at a few companies when picking out our slide and I’m so happy we went with Global!
Load it in 30 minutes or less. I think there's room for overnight Parking. And the loads are really light. Make sure you use the main state roads. All the other roads are off limits for trucks.
