Took a WFR class with Michelle and I was extraordinarily impressed with the way that she guided us through difficult topics, challenging scenarios and practice drills while closely observing each one of us and tailoring her guidance to maximize our learning. It's been a very long time since I was so precisely challenged to the limit of my capacity. Highly recommend both the course and the instructor, and I feel much more prepared to handle a range of emergencies in the wilderness.

The 5-day hybrid course was thorough and educational. The instructor was a wealth of knowledge and the participants were all engaged the entire time. It was overall a great experience. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is I would have benefitted from more hands-on exercises utilizing our location in Boulder, which I think was a missed opportunity since the whole course took place in a classroom and a parking lot.
