I had old outdated equipment so I let these guys talk me into 17 seer system. They charged me between $12 or $13 thousand dollars. My units have never worked right. My upstairs will not cool above 79 degrees on a hot day no matter what. I had another company out to clean the units and they basically said that I got screwed. Cheap tape on the ducts, no cover on exhaust pipe, leaking ceilings. What a rip off. With my old units I at least stayed cool without 5 fans going.
I found these guys on home Advisor and gave them a call because they had a good rating with the BBB and home Advisor. So I figured this would be a good reputable company, boy was I wrong. I had three estimates done to get different opinions and quote's. With that being said, he was the last company to come out and give us a estimate. He walked in took a count of my vents and wrote up a huge estimate without even checking my unit up stairs.
