One of the Biggest Bead Stores Around! If you can't find what you're looking for at Global Beads, it may not exist. Their selection is tremendous and it doesn't just stop at beads. You'll find music, masks, jewelry, scarves, books, tools, drums, kites and many more treasures. They also have a selection of collectable beads. Huge inventory gets overpowered in a multi-purpose store Global Beads stocks an amazing amount of beads. Unfortunately, they also stock a lot of other merchandise as well - clothing, gift items, decor, etc. For me, it was a little distracting to have so much going on in one store. The biggest selection of beads ever Global Beads has the largest selection of beads and other materials needed for creating your own unique necklaces, bracelets and earrings. They have beads for all price ranges, all very beautiful and high quality. They also have a large selection of ethnic wares and clothing.
Cold service!! I wanted to make some jewelry and the only bead store I knew of was Global Beads. I spent almost 2 hours in the store picking out beads and chains and was not pleased with the customer service. I asked questions from three different employees and the one that was coldest was the actual store owner, Kathleen. She rang a bill for me totaling almost $200 worth of supplies and beads and just seemed so unfriendly, almost as if she didn't care to have my business. Good selection of beads but pricey Global beads in downtown Mountain View offers a good selection of beads, particularly ethnic beads from Africa and Asia. The store is pretty large and they also sell clothing and incense. The more expensive beads and findings such as Swarkovski crystals or sterling silver or gold are found behind the counter; you have to ask the saleperson to see them. Huge selection Huge selection of all kinds of beads. Lots of wooden beads to choose from. The only con is that it is more expensive that most other loose bead shops. There are some nice sales upfront that are worth looking at. Also, there are some cheap tiny earrings near the cash register.
Too expensive!!! Please do not buy anything here!!! The prices are crazy...seems like they get cheap indian beads and bells from india and sell it for exhorbitant rates. I saw a bell for $15!!!!! It's won't even cost me 15 cents in India. The beads are expensive too...i would suggest going to the gem show at san mateo and getting quality stuff for lower rates.
