Lost a longtime customer. Was told an estimated price of 600 for rear brakes and an oil change over the phone, when I came in to pick up my vehicle they tried charging me over 1,000. They gave me a long winded attempt at an explanation, which only confused me as I do not know much about cars. They took the price down a bit because they “don’t like upsetting people”… damn right I was upset after they tried to charge me almost twice the amount I was originally told. I won’t be back.
Honest mechanics, good communication, won’t try to swindle you. Best service I’ve gotten in the area. Won’t think about going anywhere else. Thanks guys!
We've been customers of Glisson since 1994 when we moved back to Syracuse, when they were on Nottingham Road, and would not consider going anywhere else. NEVER had a complaint about service, advice or price. Kudos to all --- Nick, Paul, and the others we've dealt with.
Very friendly staff, we're able to get me in for an inspection and was completed within 4-5 hours.
What can I say...great service, they never try to upsell, but will go out of their way to give your vehicle a once over to make sure everything is in proper working (and SAFE) condition. The guys are also really friendly and never talk down to you if you're not mechanically inclined like some other garages might. I rarely write reviews, but these guys are deserving of a good one!
