The Glider Diner dates back to the year 1945 when Chappy LeStrange and the late Gene Cosgrove, Sr. both just out of the service, formed a partnership to go into the restaurant business. They purchased an actual glider plane in Tobyhanna which came in parts housed in five wooden crates. They never did put the glider itself together. Local diner. Great home style food. Hot Roast Beef is Really good
Food is great as usual service is excellent, needs a bathroom redo has not gotten better since 1985 same old bathroom set up difficult for handicapped and patrons don't always lock the door.that could lessen ones appetite Parking is tight at busy times Female drivers can be rude if you take their favorite spot.this does not matter to them if u r handicapped and they are not
This was one of the grossest restaurant experiences ever full of the whole restaurant full of flies smelled like sewage. The food was not great. There are people yelling. It was just dirty.
