Chris has fantastic service for a fair price. He came to check out our electrical needs for our tiny and ancient house on short notice and was very honest about what we would need and likely not need at the moment. Chris was friendly during the installation, and he was flexible and creative when problems presented themselves during the installation. Chris is very professional and knowledgeable, and was full of helpful hints. Chris was happy to explain what he was doing and how things work and why. I learned a lot. He took out all my old baseboards and replaced all the thermostats in all the rooms, installed 8 light fixtures and a fan. Added an electrical outlet in my bathroom..yay no more extension cords! And he added a piece to my fuse box to put my freezer on its own circuit and added another outlet..yay no more extension cords! Chris did a lot of work for me that day... read more

Loved dealing with this company. Quick and efficient! Hard to find in Nanaimo right now. Nanaimo does have a bad reputation for shoddy work at extremely high prices. It has its own word now, I've discovered. "Just Nanaimo-ite it." Which means charge exorbitant fees and provide the lowest grade work possible. I didn't get this with Glide. I have a lot of work ahead of me and I will be calling on them again.

I hired Glide Electric to upgrade my house from 100 amp to 200 amp service and the job is very well done. Attention to detail and cleaned up after he was done. He coordinated perfectly with the City service for disconnection and reconnection. Chris was great to deal with, was knowledgeable, helpful, fast, efficient and very pleasant and I would hire him again for sure!
