I had a very disappointing experience at Glenwood Medical Centre. I attended with a client who had a cut on her hand, was bleeding, and in significant pain. When we arrived, there were two doctors available and only one person ahead of us. We completed the forms and were told by the receptionist that we would be next. Ridiculous waiting time always. Waited nearly two hours even though had an appointment booked. Don’t understand what is the point of appointment if you will be called in after all walk-ins before you.

I had an appointment at 10:00am, but only after I arrived I was informed that the doctor would be delayed by one hour. There was no prior phone call or message to notify me of the delay, which meant I wasted a significant amount of time waiting. I understand that delays can happen, but a delay of this length without any notification shows a lack of respect for patients’ time. I hope the clinic can improve its communication and patient management in the future.
