If you want to go to a hospital to worry, be belittled, ignored, degraded and shoved to the side than this is the place for you. I don’t give a crap how busy a hospital is, if someone comes in with chest pains, tightness in the chest and lightheaded they should be seen IMMEDIATELY. Had a heartattack inside my room and they were quick Saved my life. They're good.
Tonight I came to the emergency room because I have two live ticks attached to my leg. I have been waiting for more than 2.5 hours and nobody has helped me yet. There are barely any patients inside, people are walking in and out, but no one is calling the waiting patients. For a situation that requires urgent attention, this level of neglect is completely unacceptable. The communication and care from the staff have been extremely poor. I arrive at urgent care. Vomiting with blood through it. Ambulance called went to glens falls hospital they discharge me for chest pain. Unreal. Last night coughing up more blood, BP up.
The Emergency Department organization and patient processing is absolutely horrible. Waited 4 hours with my 88 year old mother with Alzheimer’s and we had to leave. Atrocious.
