She has a heart of gold. We met her in 1997 and has been consistently a good listener, has good bedside manners, explains procedures, visits after procedures, does not let her patients loose in the hands of interns and residents, follows through on promises, visits unexpectedly. Her staff was instrumental in securing referral approval for a cardiac patient who had been refused cardiac evaluation by a medical director at Emblem Health. This doctor is consistently 20 to 40 minutes late to his appointments. He is standoffish to all my other physicians..none of them like dealing with him. I'll not be returning.Â
Dr Thomas is knowledgeable and outstanding in cardiology. He also takes the time to explain everything to you in layman terms so you understand. He has a patient portal which you can use to message him. I think he is a great doctor and I highly recommend him to others. He always looks out for the patient and what is best for them.Â

This is my doctor I've been seeing here for many years. My mom use to get on my case about my health, but tell people that this doctor really cares, she gives you the tools all you have to do is use them, right now I haven't seen she in about 1 year, I've gained weight and that's something she always gets on my case about. I'm trying to get my body ready so that my numbers are not so crazy compares to the last time we saw each other, I fear her more than my mom, but I wouldn't change her.Â

Dr. Thomas is perhaps the best doctor that I have ever had! He is excellent and on top of his knowledge, he is an extremely friendly an easy to talk to person.Â
What was I thinking. Dr Hammroff diagnosis did me with heart aneurysm and clogged artery that needed a stent. Went for an angiogram and surprise Nothing Wrong with my heart, Thank God I switched to another cardiologistÂ
I had a pace maker implanted by Dr. Tarkin and have only positive comments about the experience. I got all my questions answered beforehand. Dr. Tarkin carried on the procedure like an orchestra conductor with everyone on the crew playing their part in perfect tune. I had no pain to speak of and, whatever discomfort i experienced as part of the procedure, i was warned about right before i was to experience it and, in all instances, the discomfort was at a lower level than i expected.Â
