Following negligent radiation therapy for breast cancer, I was left with a gaping wound on my breast which required follow up surgery, followed by sepsis and a 7 day hospital stay. This was followed by 6+ months of weekly wound therapy appointments and a series of 8 weeks of hyperbaric treatment in hopes that the wound would heal.
