Glenferrie Lodge at 12 Carabella St, Kirribilli (Sydney), is a hidden gem of a location!! It is much cheaper than staying in Sydney CBD, yet you are only a short train or ferry ride (or taxi/uber) to the city. The ferry terminal is literally a 2-minute walk from the accommodation (and has a great little coffee shop right on the dock), and the North Sydney train station is about a 10-minute walk (as are Luna Park and the Sydney Harbour Bridge). Fantastic little find so close to everything Arriving and departing via ferry is the best way to travel Comfy room, the best breakfast ever and very helpful staff (even when you get locked out of room at 5a coz I took the wrong card!) I’ll def be back to stay at this little gem !

Excellent breakfast, lovely staff, and the rest of it was pretty dismal. However, there were options to use other showers/toilets when blocjed near our room , and spiders/ birds were removed promptly. Good prices as it is an old property about to close down.

This place is located in a quiet neighborhood across on the other side of the rocks neighborhood and an easy walking distance over the bridge or by train. It’s a cute little neighborhood next to some restaurants and stores. My room was great. I had two decks from my room and the room itself was spacious with great AC ( a pet peeve of mine when the Ac is not good ) Staff was friendly.
