Won't even answer the phone...if your a person of color then she most definitely isn't for you! It's obvious the lack of diversity in Nebraska has taken a toll on this individual. Do not recommend at all! Go somewhere else where your psychologist/therapist isn't desensitized and actually has your best interest at heart.

Following is my personal opinion: I paid Dr Cottam to do a custody evaluation. I regret this immensely.
During this week's session, I brought up cultural competence and the importance of that for me as a person of color, for me and people working with my children. Dr. Cottam got frustrated and said, "I'm so sick of people playing the race card" to which I told her I'm sorry but this is our lives. She responded and told me, "her best friend is black.
