I saw Dr. Cottam’s review and was honestly quite surprised. If she ever came across in an uncaring way, I don’t think that it was intentional. In my time meeting with her, we’ve talked about a lot of things. She did a great job building rapport, and it helped me to open up. I was surprised at the myriad of topics we were able to discuss because of that. She saw me for the person that I am, not for the problem that I am. Won't even answer the phone...if your a person of color then she most definitely isn't for you! It's obvious the lack of diversity in Nebraska has taken a toll on this individual. Do not recommend at all! Go somewhere else where your psychologist/therapist isn't desensitized and actually has your best interest at heart.

Following is my personal opinion: I paid Dr Cottam to do a custody evaluation. I regret this immensely.
