STAY AWAY! This place abuses canines. If you google Glencadia and abuse you will find the news articles and GoFundMe pages for dogs that have been severely abused and neglected. I personally know someone who had their dog neglected and starved there. I'm surprised they are still in business and they should be investigated.
If you are looking for a place to board your dog, do NOT use Glencadia Dog Camp in Stuyvesant Falls, NY. I left my dog there for the 3 weeks and she came back with scratches and bite marks on her face and front paws (which they did not tell me about) and a pronounced limp (which they did mention, but did not get a diagnosis for). When I took my dog to the vet, X-rays showed she had a torn cranial cruciate ligament (a torn ACL in humans). Our Energetic cocker spaniard spent 10 days at Glencadia this Xmas and she came back happy and having had a great holiday herself! The team at Glencadia is always reachable and very accomodative. It is indeed a good option for pet care from NYC.
