I lived here for a very long time, which allowed me to pay down student loans and save for a house downpayment. It was a charming place with hardwood floors, great light, good sized rooms, and the basics. The combination of price and location is unbeatable if you're willing to accept a modest, unpretentious place. Wish Arlington still had a lot more places like this, hope this one continues to survive.

I lived here for 5 years and I loved it. I still miss living there sometimes. High ceilings, large windows on both sides of the apartment and beautiful wood floors make these apartments glow with sunlight during the day. Each room is bright, airy and lovely. That is the main big difference between Glenayr and more modern apartments. I loved the classic layout, the nostalgic bathroom with original 1940s tiling, large cast iron tubs and good plumbing.
