Was just on the phone to place an order for Ostomy Supplies, was on hold for 32min, and was hung up on. I had called on Jan 11 2022 and got a recording saying to leave a message and they would call back. That never happened. Was also told in the recording to call back on Thursday (which is today) or Friday for a better chance to speak with the office. This situation does not seem like a very professional situation. Dr. Szomstein seemed in a rush and didn’t relay information on my condition
I had three colon rectal surgeries in 2020 with Dr. Marcos Szomstein. He was an awful surgeon. I almost die on the last surgery because I stopped breathing because during the procedure he and the anesthesiologist gave me to much anesthesia. He didn’t even had the ethics to go visit me in the recovering room neither he called my family members that were waiting for me for many hours. Dr Russo recently replaced my knee and two for my spouse and we would not hesitated to recommend him to anyone. Professional with no ego, and truly takes an interest in your results. A perfectionist and thats what you want. PT pros in our area know him and respect his work. I personally waked unasited 2 hours after surgery.
Dr. Russo is amazing! Being a master sculpture and his background with children made me feel like I was in great hands. He is a great communicator and his staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I had a total knee replacement and I have zero pain.
I called Dr. Coppola's office to make an appointment. I was told that for some reason, they could not do this simple thing but "Someone will call you back tomorrow." The next day no one called me, and when I called them I was told that they were closed although it was only 2 p.m on a Friday and they are supposed to be open until 5 p.m. Dr. Coppola may be a good doctor but thanks to his staff, people don't actually get to find out.
Up until the day Dr. Russo performed my knee replacement, I was hiking regularly; now, 11 months later, I have almost recovered from the aftermath. I had my knee replacement surgery in December, 2019, after meeting with Dr. Russo to discuss the surgery and my medical history. At that time I told him I had stents in the leg he would be operating on. Dr. Russo replaced both of my knees within 6 months of each other. He is kind, caring and very professional. He took the time to explain my X-rays and all that is involved with a knee replacement. I felt very well prepared for surgery. Follow up care was excellent also. I highly recommend Dr. Russo.
I found Dr. Russo to be a kind, caring and professional surgeon. I believe that he cares about his patients and takes a great deal of pride in his work. At our first meeting, he spent time listening to me, evaluating my x-rays and answering any questions that I had.
