While travelling to Qld with family our car overheated in Glen Innes. It was a Saturday afternoon and Luke answered. He was able to fix and test the car in about an hour. Broke down in an old bus motor home half way up the mountain between Glen Innes & Grafton. It was in a very precarious section of steep road. Very stressed & had my poor old cat with me. RACQ & NRMA bounced me around for nearly an hour. Thought I had to wait 2 hrs for a truck from Grafton but Glen Innes 24hr deisel took the job. Nick was awesome. Very calm, efficient & easy going. Grateful they could fix my vehicle after a breakdown but their invoice seemed very made up and inflated. Got a part in overnight and got charged 250% more than it generally costs plus then charged GST on top so double taxed. Quoted labour rate also had tax added afterwards. Had to stop at the next town after something they fitted came loose! Follow up; now there’s a strong fuel smell from where they “fixed it” so need to get a real mechanic to sort it out...terrible
