While the location was great and the price was fairly reasonable, the service left a lot to be desired. The food was good, and the lake views were truly beautiful, but overall, we felt pretty uncomfortable throughout our stay. Most of the staff came across as short or even a bit rude. We had to ask several times just to get basic things at our table, and even simple questions at the front desk were met with attitude—as if we didn’t belong there. This is a beautiful resort situated along the Thousand Islands Parkway and minutes from Gananoque. We have enjoyed this resort many times just to relax and occasionally to golf at Smugglers Glen nearby. Indoor pool and hot tub are inviting and an outdoor pool with loungers is nice in the summer. Try the restaurant for a great dinner. The steak was outstanding and if you like pickerel, that is a great choice too. We love the rooms in the main lodge with view of the river.
