My chronic, debilitating health issues were fobbed off as "anxiety attacks" (they absolutely are not). I was told that I can't be on the autism spectrum because I have empathy for others (which is entirely incorrect). My regular GP Dr Harris is amazing and has been looking after me for 10+ years. However, the admin team consistently make it incredibly difficult for me to get paperwork/ referrals/assistance and have a rude & dismissive attitude when communicating with myself, as well as my specialists and private health company. I'm consistently waiting weeks for simple requests & and once again health treatments are being delayed and impacting my quality of life as a result.
