Visiting. Walk to beach. Nice pool area. Sauna, shower
Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The place was quite dirty — there was a thick layer of dust under the bed and on top of the furniture, and we even found a huntsman spider inside. The owner’s long list of cleaning duties for guests after check-out felt ironic, given the poor cleanliness on arrival. The location is far from any restaurants or shops, so a car is absolutely necessary. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. I’m sure there are much better options in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to our friends. Positives: It has an amazing location, peaceful property with clean, well appointed apartments. We loved the pools, BBQ and sauna. The beautiful beach at our doorstep was breath taking. Negative: Although no fault of the resort. The traffic noise at the back side of the apartment was quite loud. I would try to book a garden facing apartment or an apartment further from the road in future. We stayed at Glen Eden Resort for a short family winter gataway and absolutely had the best time. The resort is very well maintained, with direct access to the beach, heated pool and spa. Our townhouse really exceeded our expectations - we literally had everything we needed. Highly recommended - thanknyou Jess and Hamish, we will definitely be back!
