Nice Rooftop Bar – Nice atmosphere at this small rooftop bar. The doormen downstairs were completely friendly, without a touch of the snootiness that sometimes accompanies hotels. Full of Hotel Guests – My fiancé and I tried this bar on Saturday night. We were probably the only people there that weren't guests of the hotel. The drinks were very expensive and the DJ was just okay. The place definitely lacked New York energy. On the plus side, the rooftop was pretty cool, small but nice. Perhaps the scene will improve with time and as more New Yorkers begin to patronize the bar.
It's summer, bring on the rooftops – Newly opened this week on the rooftop of the Hotel Indigo, Glass Bar is absolutely stunning. Like with most rooftop bars Glass boasts a great view, but they've also gone the extra mile to make the lounge itself visually interesting.
