Glass America aka Acacia Glass in DFW area has had approval and my deductible to replace my windshield for more than a month and to date, they still have not ordered the windshield. The manager Rob Messick (214) 846-7154 cannot tell the truth! I called the dealership where they were ordering the parts and knew the truth and confronted him with it, so, instead of fixing this, they instead canceled my order. Buyers Beware: Glass America and Rob Messick cannot be trusted to do what's right! Avoid this business!!!
My windshield was cracked by a rock on the interstate, and I contracted Glass America via AutoGlassOnly to replace the windshield. The job (#4475897) took place at my residence. The technician was on time and respectful and did a fine job, but, while removing my old windshield, he cracked the A-pillar moldings on both the driver and passenger sides of my car. We had a really bad experience. There was a very small scratch on the glass of the vehicule. As the guy made a hole in order to repair the windshield, he cracked it furthermore as he continued adding pressure in front of us, which resulted in having to replace the windshield. We declined their offer as it appears to be a scam. We don’t recommend this company.
Oh wow! How unbelievable! 2 days after I called them and paid cash for my glass repair, I called because the crack was still there. Customer service calls and says We are not guaranteed that all jobs will be perfect. There's nothing else we can do! REALLY??? HOW ABOUT YOU ARE A BUNCH OF THIEVES? Let's see what BBB and consumer affairs has to say about you.

If I could give zero stars I would. While vacationing in the Fort Myers area I needed a windshield replacement. American Glass confirmed twice (even with my insurance) that they could be out on Saturday the 19th. When that day arrived, I didn't hear from them so I called and they tell me I need to contact insurance to set this up and that they couldn't come out that day after all! They cannot accurately quote the glass as my quote went from $205 to $250 and then I was told they think they made a mistake because the glass actually cost $298 but they would honor the $250 price. Then when i called and got the first quote was told if I called by 5 pm they could do it the next day. I call at 3 pm today and was told they could not do it until next week. Do not go with these people they may of been the cheapest but by the time everything is said and done their customer service is horrible and their quotes we... read more
