I had a terrible experience with Safelite where I dropped my vehicle off with them for a windshield replacement and they had it for multiple hours just to call before closing to tell me that they couldn’t replace it due to some codes popping up that they couldn’t clear. He said I would have to take it to the dealership to get them to clear it. I said ohhhkayyy. The prices are very fair. Everyone that I have dealt with have been wonderful. I had one window replacement and an appt to have a chip repaired. The tech was very honest with me about the chip repair. I am a loyal type of customer; when I find a trustworthy business they have a customer for life. Glass America will be my 1st choice always!
Yesterday, I had the windshield replaced on my 2022 Toyota Camry. The replacement took about an hour. When the technician finished, I noticed a large scratch on the glass, approximately 20 inches long. Unfortunately, my phone couldn’t focus well enough on the glass to take a clear photo. The technician was unable to remove the scratch and offered me either a $50 discount or a replacement windshield. We scheduled a new appointment for July 8. I waited all day for an appointment...then when time for appointment,,never showed and did not know when part was coming...Terrible service .
