Took a child to a&e with a bleeding head injury and sat waiting for triage (which didn't happen) Staff behind reception seem to prioritise local residents over out-of-town visitors, someone came in with a rash and they were sent straight through whereas our bleeding child waited hours, staff don't seem to have any empathy. If you're a holiday maker... Stay away.. you'll be waiting for days to be seen☹️
Crazy busy, waited 12 hrs to be seen in a&e after being sent by GP with chest pains. But it's the NHS, it's freezing, we are blessed to have it (for how much longer who knows with this government ) but regardless of wait, lack of bed space (I spent 2 days in a chair), the docs and nurses work 12 hrs shifts attending to things most of us couldn't deal with so if your going to go there BE RESPECTFUL, PATIENT AND GRATEFUL
