The atmosphere in this salon is absolutely disgusting. Staff openly make racist and offensive comments, including about people outside the doors, and the environment tolerates it. When you react normally to these incidents, your own stylist and the owner dismiss it with “yeah, yeah, I know,” making it clear this behavior is accepted behind the scenes. The last time I went to KESENIA she did a HORRIBLE job on my highlights. I noticed it immediately after getting home, the nerve of her for getting bothered because I asked her to fix it. Nevertheless I NEVER went back to her!!! Yesterday my niece went to her for a simple haircut, face framing and trim. KESENIA didn't do as she was asked, instead she took it upon herself to cut as much hair as she pleased. WHO DOES THAT?!?! OH I KNOW KESENIA!!!! EXTREMELY ANGRY
clearly stated I did not want to lose length. Kitsenia cut off far more hair than agreed upon anyway. No check-in. No consent. No accountability. To make it worse, when I called afterward, the man who answered the phone asked if getting my tip back was going to make my hair grow back faster.
