Purchased a recliner that was on sale on October 21, 2023. Salesperson was Sharon Heatherly. I asked several ties if this chair was the foor model or new. She reassured me my chair was NOT the floor model. It was brand new from their warehouse. Price reduction to make room for the new models for Igm. My wife and i bought a recliner sofa from Gladhiil furniture in October. It was discounted because it was a store display. We used the sofa for 3 weeks before one of the recliners stopped working. We called the sales person we bought the sofa from. They informed us that there was no coverage for sofa at all. They gave us the number of a guy to call to have it repaired. We called the guy and he said it would cost 150.00 just to look at it. If he had to get parts that would be extra and more for his services. I guess it was no... read more
Business response:
The sofa was clearly marked "AS-IS", and was sitting in our showroom's Clearance Center. It had a large red tag on it that said "Final Sale". Not only did Mr. Wolfe know this upon purchase of the recliner, & agreed to the sale under the condition of no warranty coverage, he also received the sofa for only half of what it cost our store. This is not a case of poor customer service on the part of Gladhill Furniture. Mr. Wolfe agreed to the sale knowing the item was clearly defined as FINAL, AS-IS.
