They had some good wines but the man who did our tasting did not make it a fun experience. Made you feel like we were bothering him. Won't be making a trip back.
Just bought 2 bottles of wine (Concord and Niagara) from Brennan and Scott at the Pittsburgh Home and Garden Show. Both the sellers and the wine are SO VERY sweet!! I've been to many many wineries throughout Ohio to find the sweetest wine, especially a red. Well, I have finally found it!! Went on a lark while staying at Kooser State Park this past winter. Tasting was yummy, fun, interesting and educational. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable employees. Very nice tasting bar set-up. Selections are excellent and prices are very reasonable.
We did the same thing went for our anniversay weekend and stayed at camp , stopped in and we are hooked . We go know a couple of times a year and take at least one to two cases homes each time . My stash is going down so it will be soon time for a road trip . 5 PLUS STARS as far as we are concerned .
When I walk in the door I get a big smile from whoever is at the counter! Thanks for the warm comfy feeling.The wine is delicious and the staff is always very friendly. Love the place!
Glades Winery is Awesome!! Their wine is some of the best around and the atmosphere is always so warm and inviting. The staff go out of their way to make your visit a great experience....especially Scott! I would recommend this winery to everyone.
My husband & I went for the first time on our honeymoon in 2008. We now go every Fall. It is totally worth the two hour drive. The staff is so friendly, the shop is cute, and the scenery is beautiful. Glades Pike Bicentennial Blush is my absolute favorite! Every year there is something new to try and it never disappoints.
I typically am not a huge fan of North Eastern Wineries (too sweet) but I LOVE Glades Pike. Scott is always releasing new creative batches and they are all amazing. This is a must if you're in the area!
