Loved our cabin. Way better than a hotel stay. Myself and my two kids. I will definitely be back. Driveway could use a quick grading by a bulldozer. Ruts getting deep for low clearance cars.
My husband and I went to Homer, AK and stayed at Glacier View Cabins for a month. Every morning we were blessed with some of the most breathtaking views in Alaska as we stood on the porch of our cabin. Convenient and quiet, we loved our stay. The cabins were clean, the king bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was good and the kitchen had everything we needed including a large refrigerator that we stocked from the Safeway in town. My wife and I were very much looking forward to staying here. But we were not able to. We had come down with Covid and we’re not able to make our trip. I’m sure it would’ve been a fantastic place to stay. The issue is we did contact them seven days before we were supposed to be there and they would give us no refund whatsoever. On their site, it states that they would give us half of it back. Apparently, they do not honor this. So we are out the $520 that they charged us for not staying there. Cabins are very nice, roomy. Having a dinner table, fridge, and stove is very nice for long stays. Met the owner. Very nice and makes sure you have everything you need to have a great stay. Beds are super comfortable. Complimentary wood for a fire is a nice addition. Having optional to have a fire is nice, However I went during a colder month so I passed. Great view from the cabin. Overall, great place.
That view! That grass! Those cabins! I mean Idk where to even start. This place was the highlight of my entire vacation and we did most of the things that people would go to Homer for. The cabins are small but bigger than most hotel rooms. The mini kitchen is well stocked with coffee, utensils, dishes and cups.
