We contacted various moving companies throughout the Fairbanks area as a desperate measure due to U-haul canceling our reservation that was made weeks in advance, twice. I spoke with Mr. Doug and he was extremely helpful since the beginning. Since it was a last minute inquiry for a move within the next 24 hrs, he informed me he was unavailable to conduct a moving service with such a short timeline and recommended other moving companies in the area. We’re a military family leaving the area, and we’ve been through plenty of moves over the years. Glacier State moving has been, by far, the best experience we’ve had. All the packers were polite, personable, and so very careful with our belongings. They really seemed to understand that the random knickknacks weren’t just junk, and they treated each item like I would have if I had packed myself. Gosh, probably even better than I could have done.
