Was a beautiful day and good views
We decided to first walk the Dove Lake circuit - about 6km and takes 2 to 3 hours. We circled the lake and walked at the base of Cradle Mountain. It was fantastic. We experienced all sorts of climate - mist; rain; winds; sunshine; sleet and snow. It was unbelievable, the changes that can occur on the alpine wilderness trails. We particularly liked the snow falling on us; the ground; and the mountain peaks. It looked like a forest of Christmas trees.
If limited fitness you can walk here for some nice views and turn around.
