My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Cabin 14. We had planned on doing the epic lake hike (only to Lake 3), and wanted a place to relax, shower, and cook our food in comfort after the hike. The cabin was quaint, the beds were comfy, and the showers were hot. The cabin literally fit 5 people; we had two adults and three kids. I think if there were 5 total adults, the cabin would be super cramped, but with kids it was fine. Can't say enough good things about this place! Comfortingly rustic and homely cabins right at the base of some seriously stunning alpine peaks, walking distance to Big Pine Creek Trailhead. Everyone who works here was so kind and laid back. Despite the cabins being a little run down and bare bones (in the way 90+year old cabins would be!) there was a lot of care put into the maintenance and aesthetics of the interior.
