Cabin needed some TLC. Dirty comforter, curtains with holes. Heater was broken and replaced with 2 portables. Room temp could not get above 58 degrees. Had my grandkids ages 5 and 7 with me. We checked out following day, due to the cold. No apology when I said why we were checking out, and no refund. The only positive was the location
We only saw the inside of cabin 19. Cabin 19 has slipped from rustic to dilapidated. Pros: The sheets and towels were clean. The bed was comfortable. The heater worked well. The water was hot. Cons: The place was dirty - grim on the walls and floors, nasty carpet. The shower insert was literally falling apart - holes all around for water to go into, unattached drain. My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Cabin 14. We had planned on doing the epic lake hike (only to Lake 3), and wanted a place to relax, shower, and cook our food in comfort after the hike. The cabin was quaint, the beds were comfy, and the showers were hot. The cabin literally fit 5 people; we had two adults and three kids. I think if there were 5 total adults, the cabin would be super cramped, but with kids it was fine.
