We had our old garden doors removed and replaced with very good Patio Doors today by Clinton and Mo( Glacier Glass ). Although they are very young they seemed very experienced and were very meticulous in their work. They were on time and were very careful in their work, laying down a work cloth on our hardwood floor as well as on the new deck boards outside.As they worked they cleaned up by vacuuming and removing all waste materials. I had a window that needed to have the glass replaced. It was a Friday on a long weekend. I brought my window into the shop in the morning. I was expecting my window to be repaired next week. At 3:00 pm Friday, I received a call that my window was done and ready for pickup. Wow! That was a pleasant surprise and great service by the team at Glacier Glass. "WOW" !!! I was looking for a replacement French door opener. Walking into the Glacier Glass's showroom. I found a wall that is 9 feet high and 7 feet wide filled with every kind and shape of window and door openers. Each in their own space, every color I could thing of. It was overwhelming!!! Walking through a maze of pretty great looking windows. To a long counter with several attractive women busy on the phone. Several stopping what they were doing to ask me if I needed help! They were not cold. They were very quick. It took me a while to understand the glacier connectio. Oh,I get it... not 'icy'. 'I see!'
If you have small pets in the backyard, make sure they put the fence and gate low enough. Between the bottom of the gate and the ground we have a 5 inch gap. Along the end of the fence we have a 4.5 inch gap in some spots. Totally disappointing. I ASSUMED the fencing would be lower. If this is of importance to you, talk to them about fence stepping or lowering the gap BEFOREHAND. After the fact, any addition will be at extra cost.
