Glacier bear Lodge was absolutely awesome! Far exceeded our expectations. Friendly staff, great food, excellent fishing guides. Our catch was professionally, cut and packaged pros and boxed ready for us to take home. Owners are on site 24/7 to ensure you have a great time. Highly recommend.
I’ve been fishing with lodges and guides for 40 years. This was my first trip to Alaska and it was a very good one, thanks to GBL. Hardest working guides I’ve fished with, best fishing, good accommodations, good food and an extremely friendly staff. I would gladly return and I recommend.

Just wrapped up my tenth Alaskan fishing adventure and Glacier Bear made it the best ever. If you want a Four Seasons luxe experience, go to a Four Seasons. If you want an incredible angling experience, from the Situk River to the salt water, go to GBL. Led by top tier owners and supported by the best staff, from the guides to the bartenders, you'll come home with heavy fish boxes and a lot of cool memories. Special shout out to Michael and Gene for helping us fill our freezer!
Great place to stay! Owners were awesome and helpful about how everything works. Food was delicious and the fishing was epic! Chuck was our guide and he did a phenomenal job of making sure we had plenty of fish to ship back home. I highly recommend Glacier Bear Lodge!
