There were 2 hotels called the same name, one is in Gisborne Victoria Australia. The other one is in routaroa New Zealand. So we are in Victoria Australia, in the town of Gisborne, trying to book a room for 2 nights, and when we went in the app and booked, we gave our bank details and other particulars and still didn't understand what was happening, I called to check and they had already taken our money and a bond for 2 nights. Low cost motel
Rooms are small and cozy with basic appliances. Had to listen to screaming and banging objects in the room next door till around 2am. A friend Google searched for pet friendly accommodation and this was first on the list. Found out upon departure that the place isn't pet friendly, then had to listen to the guy whinge and complain and tell me how pissed off he is because I had a pet, I apologised as I didn't make the booking and didn't know, only for him to continue carrying on, REALLY rude. Old school, straight to the point , clean, tidy , has everything you’ll need including the bible in the dresser , cheap at $200 a night . We need more places like this, privacy is good too, great location .. really enjoyed my stay
